I would like to express our appreciation to both of you for the beautiful basement you completed for our family.
Your enthusiasm and commitment to quality was well demonstrated in the beginning of this project, but even more so as the project came to an end. In the past, we have had some not-so-positive experiences with contractors in our home, but now that we have found you, we know that will never be the case again. Our basement turned out beautifully with so many nice touches. Working with you was a wonderful collaboration as we had many “meetings of the minds,” which added to the final product.
Our project started with cutting a huge hole in the basement wall for an egress installation, as well as moving the existing plumbing to the desired locations. From there, the walls went up, wires were pulled for both electricity and speakers (thanks to the help of Casey’s musical expertise!), plumbing installed, and walls sheet rocked. Due to the way the builder had installed the air returns in the basement, our ceiling was especially tricky, but in the end, turned out perfect. We also had an awkward support pole to hide (we didn’t want to just ‘cover’ poles with columns) and so you made this space our ‘dry bar’ with extra outlets for crock pots and an Advantium oven. We added a round bar island in the middle of the room (because after all, people gather around islands) and a bar nook in the bump-out space, which makes this basement perfect for entertaining.
In addition to this, we love the tile, brick and stone work you added to our basement. Adding the ‘wood look’ floor tile, stone around the fireplace, and brick wall in the wine room, were the finishing touches that made this space so unique. The banquette seating area will be the best space for the kids to hang out while the adults watch a game, or for our boys to have study sessions with friends. I don’t want to forget to mention that the hinged bookcase to the storage area turned out wonderful! I love having our own functional and decorative ‘secret door’!
Again, thank you for everything you have done to make our basement a beautiful, inviting space. We look forward to working with you on future projects (kitchen/dining, master bath, covered patio…).

The detail of your craftsmanship combined with your creativity and willingness to customize according to our tastes was awesome…not what we expected based on past experience in dealing with contractors.
